My apologies for calling you an asshole... that was over the top... and an idiot...
In the meantime, historians are now suggesting that technically, Ms. Palin was right... I don't think they can say the same for the 57 states gaffe... do you?

I would have more respect for someone who just said Hey, I was surprised by the question and my answer was awkward, rather than twist and wriggle it into something that wasn't technically wrong. Who cares? She knows who Paul Revere is, who doesn't? It was the awkwardness of the answer that was funny.
As for 57 states, maybe he was referring to steak sauce. Again, who gives a shit?

Well... out of context, her Revere reference or its awkwardness or Obama's 57 states reference really do mean very little... however... when we juxtapose the fact that Obama is harped to be the smartest man to serve in the White House in ages and that Palin would be the dumbest to ever be elected should we get to that point, I think we have to give a shit...
Sarah Palin is no where near as stupid as she's portrayed... and as your post here implies... and Obama is no where near as smart as most in the media have attempted to tell us time and again...
This is the point Robert...
And as an aside, I enjoy your writing though I rarely agree with it...

Maybe you do, I don't.
Obama is very, very smart and messing up the number of states doesn't diminish that one iota. Newt Gingrich is smart, if you want me to name a smart conservative. So is Bush 41. Palin remains to be seen.
Thank you for the compliment on my writing. It's nice to hear you like it but I'm not surprised you usually disagree. I figure pretty much everybody does. It is my most selfish pursuit, meant for an audience of one, me.
